Bouncy personalities and bodies made for uninterrupted fun and games at the Eddy Matzger Workshop, May 4-6, 2001, near Washington D.C. Stuart Austin secured the primo parking deck for the weekend's festivities, which consisted of dedicated work on the regular push, the crossover push, and the double push.

Team in Training stocked the worskhop with eager wheelers as did the Washington Area Rollerskaters, and everybody was still pumped from local skater Kent Baake's 24 hour world record, set the previous weekend. The energy carried over in major marathon fashion.

If you can envisage yourself feeding off of tremendous team spirit; if you don't mind realizing that your body is capable of feats of physical stamina greater then you ever dreamed possible; iy you like the idea of positive feedback and cheers as you scream around the deck; then the Washington worskhop was certainly your kind of workshop.

There were so many stories and quips and so many collective and personal victories that it would take thousands and thousands of words. It's worth a peek at some pictures, though, some of which make reach out and grab more than just your fancy!

Come to a workshop and you also never forget the TWINCAM bearings, Explore wheels, Salomon palm-sliders, Transpack, Wigwam socks, and official wearable workshop art screened by Bobward!
