A wide range of ages and abilities got aromatically roasted and blended together to produce a wickedly good brew at the ILQ-9 Eddy Matzger Workshop in Seattle, WA, August 1-3, 2003. The buzz lasted all weekend long as the passle of perky skaters brewed up pound after pound of skating moJo supremo.

The excitement and anticipation was higher than the Space Needle as skaters learned how to orbit a tight track using improved straightaway, crossover, and double push techniques. All thirty skaters attending made stunning progress in a single shot!

"I've taken many lessons and had lots of coaches," said one attendee, "but you were the first one to really break through to me and make perfect sense of everything."

"I've taken a wide range of workshops and seminars and this was by far the most informative, inclusive, and entertaining one ever!" said another stimulated student.

"I feel like I just gained a ton of skating experience in one weekend," said one workshopper. "I wasn't able to do much before this, but now I have a whole lot goin' on."

Everybody really hit their stride on Sunday afternoon, when teams were able to put their whole storehouse of new information to use during the Stage Race.

Special thanks to TWINCAM, Wigwam, Transpack, Bobward, Barrie,Raymond Verdaguer artwork, and Sue and Ken for all the best of the Pacific Northwest!
