Another workshop went off like gangbusters in Aarhus, Denmark. Fine weather, a great location, tons of group spirit, and ample intstruction made for a highly memorable workshop that turned fun skaters into seasoned racers overnight.

Skaters did their homework steadily all weekend long before busting loose and partying hard with real live racing on Sunday. A three event stage race allowed everybody to try their hand at a team time trial, an individual time trial, and a pack race. The lowest combined time emerged victorious.

Workshop participants were happy with all the theory they learned, as well as for all the practical new exercises the came away with, but mostly were just plain enthralled with all the positive energy and enthusiasm from the workshop that breathed new life into their skating. "I am still a bit sore and overloaded with information -- but also power-inspired to work even harder on my skates," wrote one.

Congratulations to Lisa and Finn for resurrecting skating workshops in Denmark, and for turning a backwater town like Aarhus into a bustling mecca for inline.

Special thanks to TWINCAM, Wigwam, Bobward, Barrie, Aarhus 1900 Skaters,Raymond Verdaguer artwork, Michal, Explore. the fine weather, and all great new skating friends!
