Skaters went Hygge wild over the 1st ever ILQ-9 Eddy Matzger Workshop held on Danish asphalt, June 13-15, in Aarhus, Denmark. Everyone was challenged mightily in Viking fashion with Arkloads of information that never seemed to stop unloading at the skating dock. Less experienced skaters opened up container loads of new skills and improved their technique and confidence, while skaters who thought the workshop might be a bit too basic were thrilled to delve into the complexities of classic skating, crossovers, the double push, and other challenges to last them a lifetime of practice.
"WORKSHOP = TOTALLY WILD
I can totally recommend participation at Eddy's Workshop! This workshop was a total eye-opener. Eddy has a very well prepared program with sequences of exercises (many of which we've never seen before) which he takes time to explain again and again, and again if necessary. There's individual feedback, video analysis, and more.
It's some of the best money I have ever spent on skating -- worth a lot more than a new custom boot!!!
There are still a few available spaces left for next week's workshop, so you'd better hurry up and register. If you have any doubt then talk to some of the people that have already attended this weekend's workshop, like Thomas Seemann, Michal KS, Finn and Lisa, Michal Thomsen & Patrick"
