Just when you thought you couldn't gather a more eclectic buch of skating fanatics together in one place, it happened again. Two dozen highly motivated skaters gathered for a nonstop weekend of skating action. This time the Gerogia Tech parking deck was where you could hear the sound of skaters' wheels chewin the ground, carving away and propelling themselves into uncharted speeds on the brushed concrete.

Molly, the weekend's workshop mascot , had everybody howling with pleasure and pain as participants felt muscles they never knew they had to move themselves in new, energy-saving ways.

Paul and Cindy added hometown flavor to the talented group and were ideal hosts. Their love for eachother and passion for skating shone as brilliant and made everybody giddy in the process.

Many underwent radical transformations from inside-edge toe-flickin' pushes to more vertically aligned, honking heel carves. It was evident that there was still a vast reserve of progress that all the participants will be tapping into as they integrate the course material into their own flavorful brands of skating.

As Bonnie Raitt incants, the luck of the draw is the natural law. With Piedmont Park paths under construction for so many years, the tendency has been for park skaters to become speed skaters. You can just feel the surge!

The workshop was peachy-keen to receive super fine product from TWINCAM bearings, Explore wheels, Salomon, Transpack, Wigwam, and Raymond Verdaguer art screened onto shirts by Bobward Flynn.
