Craiger and I were happy to meet back up with the group after taking a detour. First thing in the morning I had to punish him for stopping skating at 3 a.m. the night before and not wanting to get up at 5 a.m. for more. So I took him straight up the hill back behind town. Kind of like taking your son out behind the barn. Up and over, I paddled him on his rear with major altitude gain and loss before meeting up with the group again, which was still looking fresh as daisies.
